Cards update as you type. Long entries shrink to fit their square; a very long single word is split over two lines with a hyphen (up to 40 characters each). The PDF uses a built-in font: emoji and non-Latin scripts print best with Print cards.
Caller sheet
Every call in a shuffled order. Tick each one as you read it out; the same share link always gives the same order.

About Thanksgiving bingo
An all-round Thanksgiving card mixing the meal (Turkey, Stuffing, Pumpkin pie), the history (Mayflower, Plymouth, Wampanoag), the traditions (Wishbone, Turkey trot, Parade balloons, Kids' table) and the long weekend itself, from Road trip home to Leftovers. It works across ages, so it is a good default for family dinners, senior centers and community meals in the US.
On a 5x5 card with a free center, Thanksgiving bingo shows 24 of the 44 entries, so each one lands on about 55% of the cards: in a set of 30, Turkey or Pilgrim hat appears on roughly 16 cards. Card 1 leaves out 20 of them, including Turkey, Pilgrim hat and Mayflower, so no single card can mark everything.
The caller reads the 44 entries from a shuffled caller sheet and players mark them; the first complete line (row, column or diagonal) wins.

When to play Thanksgiving bingo
Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26. At home, play on Thursday, November 26 itself, between the main course and dessert or while the meal cooks.
In 2027 it falls on Thursday, November 25. Printing 30 cards at one card per page takes 30 sheets plus the caller sheet, so print a few days ahead and keep the share link (seed "thanksgiving") to reprint the same set.
How long Thanksgiving bingo lasts

Thanksgiving bingo cards for 50, 100 or 200 players
A free set prints 30 unique cards, so a bigger room needs several sets (New shuffle makes the next one) or one Pro set of up to 1,000. The last two columns come from 150 shuffled games on cards 1-200 of this Thanksgiving set, at 10 seconds a call.
| Players | Free sets of 30 | One Pro set | First line | Shared first line |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 players | 2 sets (60 cards, 10 spare) | 50 cards, 13 pages at 4 per page | call 11 (8-14), about 2 minutes | 19% of games |
| 100 players | 4 sets (120 cards, 20 spare) | 100 cards, 25 pages at 4 per page | call 10 (7-13), about 2 minutes | 17% of games |
| 200 players | 7 sets (210 cards, 10 spare) | 200 cards, 50 pages at 4 per page | call 9 (7-11), about 2 minutes | 23% of games |
Running Thanksgiving bingo in a big room
- Number the sets: print set 1, press New shuffle for set 2 and so on. 4 free sets cover 100 players and 7 cover 200; each set's share link reprints exactly the same cards.
- Plan for shared wins: with 200 cards in play, 23% of simulated games had two or more cards complete a line on the same call (19% with 50). Keep spare prizes or a quick tie-break ready.
- Expect short rounds: the first line comes around call 9 of 44 with 200 players, against call 13 with 30, so follow it with a blackout or a picture pattern.
- Count the paper: at one card per page, 200 players need 200 sheets plus a caller sheet; Pro's 2-up and 4-up layouts cut that to 100 or 50.
How to host Thanksgiving bingo
-
Print the Thanksgiving cards
Give each player one card; a free set prints up to 30, no two alike. Card 1 above starts with Airport crowd, Pumpkin pie, Cornucopia, Fourth Thursday and Gourds.
-
Print the caller sheet
All 44 entries appear on it in shuffled order, opening with Wishbone, Long weekend, Recipe card, Nap after dinner and Leftovers; tick each one as you read it out.
-
Play between dinner and dessert: hand out cards after the meal and call squares while pie is served, so Pumpkin pie gets marked as it arrives.
-
Let the youngest player call Wishbone, Parade balloons and Hand turkey, while an older guest calls Mayflower and Wampanoag and adds one sentence of history.
-
At a community meal, print one card per table and let each table play as a team, with the Volunteer and Food drive squares honoring the people serving.
-
Call until someone shouts bingo
With 30 cards, expect the first line near call 13 (Pie server in this set's order) and a blackout near call 40; check the winner's squares against your ticked list.
Thanksgiving bingo variations
-
Thanksgiving variation
Thankful bingo: before marking any square, the player names one thing it makes them thankful for, for example the cook behind a favorite Recipe card or the Cousins who traveled.
-
Blackout round
Card 1 needs all 24 squares, Airport crowd to Pie server; on average one card fills after 43.2 of the 44 calls (98% of the deck).
-
Quick 4x4 round
A 4x4 card needs 16 of the 44 entries and no free space; one card is full after about 42.4 calls instead of 43.2.
First 15 calls of this Thanksgiving set
Seed "thanksgiving" gives this order, the same one the caller sheet prints. With these calls, card 12 of the first 30 completes the diagonal from the top right (Recipe card, Wampanoag, Stuffing and Pie server) on call 13, and card 28 is the first full card on call 41.
| Call | Entry | Cards marked (of 30) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Wishbone | 17 of 30 |

Frequently asked questions
How many words are on the Thanksgiving bingo list?
44, from Airport crowd to Wishbone. A 5x5 card with a free center uses 24 of them, so each card leaves out 20. The shortest entry is Apron (5 characters) and the longest is Table centerpiece (17).
Are all Thanksgiving bingo cards the same?
No. Card 1 and card 2 of this set share 11 of their 24 squares, and every card is checked so none of the 30 in a free set repeats. About 1.09 × 10³⁶ different arrangements are possible from the 44 entries (1,761,039,350,070 different selections of 24).
How many Thanksgiving bingo cards per person?
Usually one. Extra cards speed the game up only a little: on this list a first line took a median 13 calls with 30 cards in play, 11 with 60 (30 players on two cards each) and 15 with just 10. In a hall, extra cards per player only add checking: 200 cards in play already bring the first line to about call 9. For a bigger room, make a second set with New shuffle: two sets are not checked against each other, but with about 1.09 × 10³⁶ possible cards a repeat is vanishingly unlikely, and one caller sheet serves both because every set uses the same 44 entries.
How long does Thanksgiving bingo take?
A Thanksgiving game with 30 players usually reaches its first line after 13 calls (9-16 in 80% of simulated games), about 2 minutes at one call every 10 seconds. A blackout takes about 40; with 10 players the first line needs about 15.
Can I print Thanksgiving bingo cards for free?
Yes. The generator above makes up to 30 cards (5x5 cards with a free center) from the 44 entries; Print cards sends them to your printer and Download PDF saves one card per page, so 30 cards take 30 pages plus the caller sheet. It all runs in your browser with no sign-up.
How do I make my own Thanksgiving bingo cards?
Start from this list: the 44 entries are already in the generator, so delete Football on TV or any other entry, type your own one per line and the cards update as you type. Keep at least 24 entries for 5x5 cards (16 for 4x4); the share link reprints exactly the same set.
