Icebreaker Bingo Card Generator
This Icebreaker bingo list has 42 prompts, including “Dream vacation”, “Last book read” and “Early bird or owl”. A 5x5 card with a free center shows 24 of them, and up to 30 unique cards print free; players walk around and write a different person's name in each square, so a full card means meeting 24 people.

Caller sheet
Every call in a shuffled order. Tick each one as you read it out; the same share link always gives the same order.

About Icebreaker bingo
Icebreaker Bingo gives every square a conversation topic instead of a word to call: “Hidden talent”, “Dream job as a kid”, “Best advice received”, “Signature dish” and “Song stuck in head”. Players mingle, ask a colleague about one square, and write that person's name in it. It suits new teams, workshops, classes and mixed groups who need an easy opener.
42 prompts make up this Icebreaker set. With 24 per card, any single one, “Small win this week” for example, appears on about 57% of the cards, so in a room of 30 players around 17 of them have it.
There is no caller: players walk around, find a person who fits a square (“Sweet or salty”, say) and write that person's name in it, one square per person. The first player with a complete line of 5 squares (4 on a line through the free center) wins.

How to play Icebreaker bingo
-
Hand out cards and pens
Give each player one card; a free set prints up to 30, no two alike. Card 1 above starts with “Languages spoken”, “Favorite holiday”, “Pet's name”, “First job ever” and “Best concert”.
-
Walk the room and collect names
Players find a person who fits a square, such as “Sweet or salty” or “Something you collect”, and write that name in it. Allow one square per person, so a line means talking to 4 or 5 different people.
-
Set one rule: each name may appear on a card only once, so people move past their desk mates to fill “Hometown” and “First job ever”.
-
Keep questions low-pressure; “Coffee or tea” and “Sweet or salty” are quick to answer, while “Proudest moment” works better once the room has warmed up.
-
Give groups ten minutes, then invite a few players to share the most surprising answer they heard, such as an unexpected “Hidden talent”.
-
Check the names
The first player with a complete line reads out the names in it; check that no name appears twice. A full card means meeting 24 different people, “Languages spoken” to “Favorite season” on card 1.
Icebreaker bingo variations
-
Icebreaker variation
Speed-round icebreaker: pairs get ninety seconds per round to answer one square each, then rotate; the first player to fill a row with five different names reads those answers aloud.
-
Blackout round
Card 1 needs all 24 squares, “Languages spoken” to “Favorite season”, which means finding 24 different people; it suits a large group with time to mingle.
-
Quick 4x4 round
A 4x4 card has 16 squares and no free space, so a full card needs 16 prompts instead of 24; lines take 4.
First 15 entries on the Icebreaker caller sheet
Seed "icebreaker-bingo" gives this order, the same one the caller sheet prints (use it as a checklist, or call from it). With these entries in this order, card 25 of the first 30 completes the B column (“Song stuck in head”, “Fun fact”, “Favorite ice cream”, “Early bird or owl” and “Favorite smell”) on entry 13, and card 17 is the first full card on entry 38.
| # | Entry | Cards marked (of 30) |

Frequently asked questions
How many prompts are on the Icebreaker bingo list?
42, from A skill to learn to Weekend plans. A 5x5 card with a free center uses 24 of them, so each card leaves out 18. The shortest entry is Fun fact (8 characters) and the longest is Something you collect (21).
Are all Icebreaker bingo cards the same?
No. Card 1 and card 2 of this set share 16 of their 24 squares, and every card is checked so none of the 30 in a free set repeats. About 2.19 × 10³⁵ different arrangements are possible from the 42 prompts (353,697,121,050 different selections of 24).
How many Icebreaker bingo cards per person?
One card per player: each square needs a different person's name, so a second card only splits the attention. A free set of 30 cards covers 30 players, and New shuffle makes another set for a bigger group.
How do you play Icebreaker bingo?
There is no caller: players walk around, find a person who fits a square (“Sweet or salty”, say) and write that person's name in it, one square per person. The first player with a complete line of 5 squares (4 on a line through the free center) wins.
Can I print Icebreaker bingo cards for free?
Yes. All 42 prompts are loaded above, so choose a card count up to 30 and press Print cards, or Download PDF to print later at one card per sheet (30 sheets for a full set). The shuffled caller sheet prints separately; nothing is uploaded or stored on a server.
How do I make my own Icebreaker bingo cards?
Start from this list: the 42 prompts are already in the generator, so delete “Early bird or owl” or any other entry, type your own one per line and the cards update as you type. Keep at least 24 entries for 5x5 cards (16 for 4x4); the share link reprints exactly the same set.
